Governor Udom Emmanuel has presented the 2021 Budget of Economic Reconstruction, with a total budgetary outlay of N435.652 billion to the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey in the floor the House, Tuesday, 20 October 2020.

Governor Udom Emmanuel emphasized that the 2021 Budget was prepared in accordance to International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) – Accrual Template and predicated on an oil benchmark of $40 per barrel at a production rate of 1.86 million barrels per day, with an estimated exchange rate of N379/US dollar.

The 2021 Budget of Economic Reconstruction has a total estimated Capital receipt of N226. 964 billion and a total estimated Recurrent revenue of N255.003 billion.

In company with Governor Emmanuel to the Budget presentation were: the Deputy Governor, Mr Moses Ekpo, the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Emmanuel Ekuwem, the Head of Civil Service, Elder Effiong Essien, the Chief of Staff, Akparawa Ephraim Inyang, the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Comrade Ini Ememobong and other members of the State Executive Council.
