24 hours after Liverpool Completed the signing one of the world best midfielders in Europe, Thaigo Alcantara, Liverpool again signed Diego Jotta from Wolves to boost their forward line. Diego Jotta joined Liverpool on a long term deal on the back of completing a 45 million Euros switch from wolves on Saturday.

the 23 year old and Portuguese international made 67 appearance for Wolves in his three seasons with the Molineux and scored 16 goals. the attacker also scored nine times in 14 Europa league outing with Wolves in the 2019/2020 season.
expressing his happiness in joining one of the best teams in the world after completing the transfer on Saturday, he told Liverpool FC;

“it’s just really exciting moment for me and my family, all my path since i was a kid and now, to join a club like Liverpool – the world champions – is just unbelievable. i just want to get started.

” it is one of the best teams in the world – the best at the moment because they are world champions. when you look at the Premier league, you always see Liverpool as one of the biggest teams in the country, so it’s impossible to say no.

“so we just want to come here, to give our best and hopefully i can become good option for Liverpool in the future”, he said.

The 2-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the weekend might have come a little bit late for the Liverpool new signing after arriving at the club on Saturday. but against Arsenal on Monday 28, Jurgen Klopp will be hoping to unleash Diego Jotta to make his first Debut for the Club. klopp will also be hoping that Diego Jotta will follow in the footsteps of fellow new signing Thiago Alcantara who came in as a substitute in the Chelsea’s game and impress, completing 75 successful passes in the win against the blues.
