A 2019 People’s Democratic Party Bayelsa Governorship aspirant, Kenedi Okoko has been confirmed dead. The 43 year old civil engineering contractor  and politician reportedly while undergoing a liposuction surgery in a Lagos private clinic  yesterday, April 14. It was gathered that he died in the theater room allegedly due to power outage. Sources familiar with the news claim that the back up generator at the clinic facility developed a sudden fault and refused to come up despite efforts made by technicians to fix the fault in face of the urgency.

Liposuction, or simply lipo, is a type of fat removal procedure used in plastic surgery. Although researched evidence does not support an effect on weight beyond a couple of months and it does not appear to affect obesity related problems, it is still one of the most common plastic surgery in demand.

PDP youth leader, Oyinemi Nicholas Endeley confirmed the death of Kenedi. Before his death, the former PDP governorship aspirant was the CEO of Kenedi Engineering.Members of the Salvation Ministry where he was said to be a pastor as well as his associates and relatives have been taking to social media to mourn their loss.
