Coming out in response to the recent controversy stired by Pastor Chris Oyakilome of Christ Emabassy, Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo, founder and Senior Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre has urged Christians around the way world to stay away from theories and claims of 5G being the Antichrist.

The KICC founder who admitted that he is not a scientist but a Pastor, stated that anytime there is a major shock around the world the church thinks it is the Antichrist. He went on to recount how the church thought Napoleon, Benito Mussolini, Hitler and many others were the Antichrist.

Ahimolowo expressed disappointment with Oyakilome who for going as far as putting out a graph to show a link between 5G, Coronavirus and the Antichrist.

Recall that Pastor Chris Oyakhilome had earlier made a presentation trying to establish a co-relation between Anti-Christ, 5G network and the Coronavirus pandemic, which has crippled activities in many countries around the world.

The Founder of  Believers Love World a.k.a Christ Embassy who was preaching to his congregation on a live TV program, stated that the pandemic was created in order to popularize the 5G network which is gradually gaining attention across the world.

Pastor Chris argued that with the attention given to the fifth generation of wireless communications technologies due to the pandemic, everyone will embrace it as a solution to their problems out of fear.

He added that these are part of the Antichrist’s plan for a new world order which includes; one world government, one world religion and one world economy. Pastor Chris backed his claim with Revelation Chapter 13.

On his part, Pastor Ashimolowo refuted the claims of Oyakilome saying that he knows the Antichrist will come and also play some “pranks”, but insisted that the current challenges the world is facing is not the handiwork of the Antichrist. He concluded by stating that the world is facing a pandemic which Jesus spoke of in Mathew 24:8.
