Akwa Ibom state is now the 13th Nigerian State with confirmed cases of corona virus.
Nigerian Centre for disease control revealed this on its twitter handle on wednesday. The NCDC tweet confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 174 confirmed cases.
It tweeted, “Twenty three new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Nigeria – Nine in Lagos, seven in the FCT, five in Akwa Ibom, one in Kaduna and one in Bauchi State.
“As of 08:00 pm on the 1st of April, there are 174 confirmed cases of #COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. Nine have been discharged with two deaths.
“Currently, Lagos has 91 cases, FCT- 35, Osun- 14, Oyo- eight, Ogun- four, Edo- four, Kaduna- four, Bauchi- three, Enugu- two, Ekiti- two, Rivers- one, Benue- one and Akwa Ibom – five.”
