A 58 year old physically impaired father of nine, Mr Monday Ekpo, on Thursday, took ownership of a 3-bedroom bungalow built and donated to him by the Managing Director of Arkway Consultants, Elder Ubong Williams.

Ekpo, from Nnung Ukana Ikot Efre in Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, also had a borehole and generator, sunk and donated to him by the philanthropist.

The donor, Elder Ubong Williams while speaking at the handing over ceremony, said he was happy to have touched the life of the less privileged.

He said he will continue in the provision of basic amenities and welfare packages to the downtrodden.

Elder Williams said his gesture was to encourage Mr Ekpo, while also giving hope to the hopeless and further thanked the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel for providing a platform for his firm (Arkway Consultants) to deliver on its mandate. .

In support of the magnanimity, the Commissioner for works who was present at the event, announced a Million Naira Scholarship grant for six children of the physically impaired father and another Five Hundred Thousand Naira for the family to start a business.

The elated beneficiary, Mr Monday Ekpo, said he was grateful to God, for using Elder William to solve his accommodation problem.
